GigGenius was established to address these challenges through a marketplace that prioritizes fair participation, stronger identity checks, and practical tools for collaboration.

GigGenius does not sell application credits or charge freelancers to submit proposals. Our automated credit system manages application volume while maintaining free access to opportunities. Credits replenish according to platform rules and are returned when applications are rejected or job listings expire. Businesses can post opportunities and review applicants without purchasing job-posting credits.

Our marketplace revenue comes from commissions on successfully completed projects, connecting platform growth to successful work.

Dual-Layer Identity Verification

GigGenius combines AI-assisted, real-time facial recognition with a manual review of submitted credentials during onboarding. This process helps verify the identity behind each account, identify suspicious registrations, and reduce the risk of duplicate or fraudulent profiles.

Verification is a foundation of our approach to trust, supported by ongoing review and attention to platform misuse.

Integrated Hiring and Project Management

Businesses can publish opportunities, evaluate applicants, and manage working relationships through a connected workflow. Project communications, milestone tracking, and payment management help both parties maintain a clearer understanding of responsibilities, progress, and agreed deliverables.

GigGenius’s payment workflow is designed to connect project funding and payment release with agreed milestones. Funds are held through the applicable payment arrangements and routed through integrated providers when release requirements are met.

Centralized Activity Tracking

GigGenius University

GigGenius University provides practical educational resources that help freelancers prepare for remote work and client responsibilities. Entry-level freelancers must complete three mandatory jumpstart courses before submitting proposals.

Learning progress is connected to each profile, and application eligibility is activated once the requirements are completed.

Recurring Referral Rewards

The GigGenius referral program allows eligible partners to earn recurring rewards from qualifying transactions involving the freelancers and businesses they introduce. Rewards are governed by the program’s eligibility requirements and terms.

Our Journey

GigGenius was founded on the belief that freelancers and businesses deserve a more balanced and transparent marketplace.

Developing that vision required several stages of testing, refinement, and rebuilding. The platform was rebuilt three times, with each iteration helping the team improve its structure and user experience.

Development progressed alongside ongoing client commitments, requiring sustained collaboration and persistence.

On June 28, 2026, GigGenius officially launched to the public in the Philippines.

Since launch, internal testing and early user feedback have continued to inform platform improvements. Our development remains guided by the needs of the people who use GigGenius and the standards we aim to uphold.

Together with her team, she established GigGenius to address those challenges through a platform built around fair access, trust, and practical support.
