GigGenius to Exhibit at Philippine Startup Week 2026, Sponsoring Giveaways and ₱25,000 Insurance for Lucky Raffle Winners
GigGenius, the freelance marketplace redefining how businesses hire and how talent gets hired, will exhibit at Philippine Startup Week 2026 from November 9 to 12 at the Quezon City M.I.C.E. Center. As part of its return, GigGenius is sponsoring not only giveaways but also ₱25,000 InLife Insurance coverage by brand partner Fortis Prime Financial Group for lucky raffle winners.
Philippine Startup Week is the country’s biggest startup gathering, co-organized by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and Startup QC. This year’s theme, “Beyond Borders: Navigating Our Future,” focuses on helping Filipino startups connect, scale, and reach partners across ASEAN through digital innovation, emerging technology, sustainability, and social impact. The week also lands as the Philippines holds the ASEAN Chairmanship, giving local founders a stronger stage for regional collaboration. Last year’s edition drew about 2,000 people. IGNITE X, a flagship program of Philippine Startup Week, returns on November 10 at the same venue.
For GigGenius, the week is both a homecoming and a next chapter. The company exhibited in 2025 and returns in 2026 to meet founders, operators, and talent who want hiring to work more fairly — whether they are building a team or looking for their next project.
GigGenius was completed on October 23, 2026 after about two and a half years of research and development. The platform was built so hiring can be fairer on both sides: users are verified, there is no pay-to-apply, unused credits are refunded, paid boosts are not part of the model, and a Protected Payment Solution is in place to help keep work and payment on track. GigGenius University supports skills growth, and the company also runs inclusive commission practices for persons with disabilities, along with a Brand Partnership Program.
